Once the “Steel Capital of the World”, Pittsburgh saw many changes to its industrial landscape during the 1980’s, and the steel mills decline brought new challenges in the industrial market.
American Fastener Technologies Corporation was founded in 1983, and served many of the industries common to the Tri-State Area from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.
As companies that once made steel, forgings, valves, electronics, and transformers moved from the area, our focus was on expanding our service distance but concentrating on what we do better than anyone: To provide the best fasteners to the world’s most demanding clients.
Last year, American Fastener Technologies Corporation shipped to more than 2100 different customers, in all 50 US states, 7 Canadian provinces, and 39 different countries.
